Bo Bay Today
One road in
One road out
Small town haven
Sun’s a-shout
Burnin’ on my cheek
Cooks my skin nicely
Blindin’ in my left eye
Leaves my right seeing precisely
Lowest tide in twenty-some
Two point two in minus
Leaving boats un-afloat
Revealing unseen shyness
With great fanfare sparrows flit
In ‘n out of cushy bush
Nests they knit from where I sit
A race to mate, that’s the push
Blaring… blasting ‘cross the sky
Sun beams warm the sand
Silent winds softly spin
This tale in
The palm of my hand
Right here today
On the bo bay
