New occurs
Every moment
Here by the sea
Stands out like a sore thumb
As seagulls try and woo me

Cool this morn
Hot by noon
City’s lighting up
Sun on Market Street real soon

Across the slurp
Mist lit by rays
Dances flips burps
A lone pelican soars away

Black crow is bouncing
On a telephone wire
He’s big as a chicken
A small turkey,  no lie

There on the pavement
Without a dish
The size of that crow
Sprawls a huge jellyfish

Right here today on the Bo Bay

Yo Fall sun
Where are you?
Looming behind the ridge
Soon you’ll croon your tune

Cool A.M.
Bo Channel’s dimples
Rise and fall
Collapse in ripples

Waves break
Day breaks
Sun see’s
You and me

In the eyes
blinding
heat to cheek
spell-binding

Dancing off the everything
The new sun’s begun
Warms our hearts
Solar jump starts
and all renew as one

Sittin’,  waitin’ for the thoughts
To come in…makes room for them
A little space fills the place
With nothin’
That’s the way to begin

Dogs, see five
People, too
A ten-month old
Tip-toes the blue

Dogs seem taller
As baby runs
Now comes mom
With a morning bun

Sneaky sun disappears
With each passing cumulus
Group scoop,  vapor dupe
Chilling what it does to us

Baking skin we’re in
Water bags are we
The fire heats us
Clouds they cheat us
Floatin’ o’er the sea
