Drove the car to a stop

Not a gull in sight

Woof-woof bellows strong
Is it a big doggie song?

My face starts to bake
By the quiet of this lake
And the waddle of a tag-along

Two fat feathered friends
On the wall
Peek in my window
With their doggie call

Not the ordinary shriek
Heard when walking up the street

Because the gull’s treat

Is doggie speak

Fog lifting
Sands shifting
Matter drifting
Sounds gifting

A seal head pokes through
the blue

Splatter of a fish jumps pumps

Walkers be talkers
see the sun a smidge

In it’s struggle to bubble o’er the ridge

Doggie’s race the strand
Lapping tastes the sand
Shrills fill the air
Gulls shriek and stare

Cormorants float without a care
Unaware there

Emerging solar blasting flare
